Asha Ashanti is an Afro-Jamaican screenwriter, actress, and singer. Her most well-known role is her role as Melody Jones, the drummer of Josie and Pussycats on CW Riverdale. Asha has also appeared as Zadie Wells in Netflix's hit show Locke and Key. She is the author of HURRICANE SUMMER and SONGS OF IRIE. Asha Bromfield's debut novel takes readers into Jamaica as well as the world of a girl in her early years that is coming to terms about herself as well as her family.
